Photo Challenge Submission

This week I heart faces photo challenge is SILLY FACES. I choose to uses my youngest daughter who is 5yrs old, because out of all 4 of my kiddos she has the most spunk. She is all the time giving me silly faces when I am trying to take pictures of her. So, when I told her I wanted nothing but silly faces in the pictures...She was super excited. After we got done she told me it was the best pictures she has ever taken, that we should do it more often.

Bored

You mean a mother of 4 kiddos and a husband gets bored. YES!!! When I stay up late because I can't sleep, and all 4 of my kiddos are sleeping and hubby's working.... I get bored. What do I do in the middle of the night when I get bored and nothing is on TV and can't sit still enough to read a book. I play with my camera and take pictures of weird things that are on my desk...like....pop cans (because pop cans are always on my desk ask my husband), my scentys burner (gotta keep my room smelling good), stack of computer games (my husband and kids don't know how to put the games back in cases), printer (yes I have taken pictures of the buttons on my printer before), and computer speakers (why not they need pictures too).... and I also take weird pictures of myself examples are given, close up pictures of my eyes because my eyes are hazel but mostly show up as green, and I also take pictures of me staring at my circle mirror....its on my desk usually by the way......and Oh I also braid my hair as you can see in the pictures above. I probably gave you too much info on myself, but I wanted to explain my hair and the pictures.

Updating the blog

Last year I was not a very good blogger, this year I am going to try to blog more of what goes on in our lives and what the kids are up too. I figure I start with updating some things that happened last year that I never blogged. I figure I start with the recent things going on with the kids and work back. The girls are in basketball and both started the year knowing nothing on basketball and have improved by tons. Kirsten doesn't like shooting for baskets during games, even though she can make them during practice. She's a great blocker and doesnt always block just her girl. Kacy is the only girl on her team and has made great improvements. During games she kinda hangs back and lets the boys do their thing. When she does get the ball she does this dear in head lights thing and all her boys come to the rescue asking Kacy to pass the ball. She does sometimes take it down the court but passes before shooting for the basket. Kacy has been hit in the head with the ball several times and doesnt stand under the goal or practice her shooting with everyone because of it. She handled being hit in the head with the ball like a trooper. After couple of games and practices (kirsten practices) I have to say after doing upwards basketball, kinda missing it this year.

A picture with Santa, Carter didn't like it at all. Kirsten is starting not to believe and Kacy is staying strong there is a Santa.

Kacys Kdg class did a "Night before Christmas" themed Christmas program. Kacy got a speaking part during the program. She rocked it and got all of her words down. I don't know why but the girls school doesnt have all the grades do something every year. So Kacy has been in 2 programs so far and Kirsten hasnt been in one yet this year. So, no pictures for Kirsten.

Kirsten turned 7 years old and had a skating party. She has been asking for a skating party for a year. Since her cousin had a skating party last year.

Kirsten

My baby girl turned 7 years old back in November, but I am just now getting around to taking her pictures. She is full of life and goes from being the sweetest girl to the complete opposite. She loves helping with her brother and teaching her sister new things she needs to know for 1st grade (Kacy's only in kindergarden) She is playing basketball now, and loves it. She can't wait to go to a practice or a game. She is really into video games on the Wii or her DS and playing dress up, with her clean clothes in her closet might I add.
