Princess Kacy

The girls were carrying their princess pictures around with them today. Kacy was supposed to be sleeping when I took them. So, she did not have one. Kacy came to me with Kirsten's picture and asked "where's mine?" So, I had to get her picture taken as a princess.

Boredom

Well, when I got home from cheerleading and Cameron's basketball practice everyone was a sleep. Which is really nice, but I was not ready for bed. So, I made this from Heavenly's pictures. She asked me when I was taking her pictures if she could take them home with her. She is such a sweetheart and just a precious little girl. Everyone in the house is glad to have her with us, even if it is just for 3 days.

just having fun

Today the girls got kind of tired out on playing with the barbies and babies. So, I thought we would put on some of Kirsten's play makeup and dress up. I also had to throw in taking their pictures. I don't think you can really tell they have makeup on, but trust me we had it loaded up. Kirsten being used to having her picture taken was not as in to it as Heavenly.

Being a princess means you have to do a princess spin.

I guess the spin made them tired they wanted to use each other as pillows.

One of few pictures Kirsten let me take of her by herself. In this picture she still would not sit still. I am surprised it is even it that great of a focus.

The rest of the pictures are of Heavenly who never got tired of having her picture taken. She did want to stop and examine the pictures, but I can live with that. I am actually really used to that from little kiddos. These are my favorite of the many she let me take of her.

look who came to see us

Heavenly came to see us while she is off on winter break. We really enjoy having her. Kirsten missed her and loves having her to play with again. The girls dragged out all types of toys, which I think all kids do. As long as the toys get picked up before bed, or before friends leave. I do not care about the toys they want out to play.

The girls playing together in the bedroom.

I got the girls to look at me for a picture. Usually when I bring my camera out they automatically stop and look at me. I guess it has been to long, because they did not stop for a picture.

The girls having a tea party. Don't you just love the table the girls have. Yes, I know I need to get them a table, but the room is not that big. Plus, I have not found one I like, not that I am looking that hard. They played all day long with everything from barbies, to babies and tea parties.

Stryder for the first time in the girls room playing. The girls have to many tiny toys for him to be in there. I usually just make a play room out of my living room when he is there. Which he didn't stay that long today, but he kept trying to crawl back there. He now knows what he has been missing. A room full of toys he has not yet played with.

New toys

The girls got a bunch of stuff for their barbies for Christmas. Here are the girls playing nice (and together) in their room with everything.

a dress preview

Our church had there Christmas programs this Sunday and they were good. They had the kids sing a few songs and then the adults sang and performed. After the kids got done singing I wanted a picture of my two kiddos. Cameron thought it would be cool to include our pastor, which I have no objections. The pastor gladly let us take the picture. Kirsten was one of the angels and I thought she did great. I had some people tell me they were waiting for Kirsten to run. They needed a good laugh. Well, she did not run, but Kirsten did try to do the bigger kids motions.

My girls were not going to get Christmas dresses this year. I could not find one I liked and then I could not get the girls matching or at least get colors that matched. I finally got to the point of realization, the girls needed (or I wanted) Christmas dresses. I found two not so cute and did not go together at ALL dresses. I could not bring myself to buy them. So, I decided to make the girls Christmas dresses. The dresses match and I also made jackets for the dresses that will match. This is Kacy's dress and jacket. I was really kind of shocked at how excited the girls were about me making them dresses. I made Kirsten's dress first and Kacy was so sad she did not have one. Kacy took the extra fabric and just wanted me to wrap her up in it. When I am sewing the girls and even Cameron is hovering over me. All I have to do is start the machine and kids swarm around. Well, tell me what you think. I have not made anything since the 9Th grade and I did not use any patterns. Josh got me the sewing machine on Saturday for a Christmas present.

Cameron's school play

Well, Cameron had a musical at his school on Thursday night. I can't say I was really impressed, maybe because I am used to Misty's musicals at the church. I think it last 30 minutes and the kids sang maybe 3 songs. The songs were not long songs, just average length. Cameron was really excited about it though. He got to dress like a young gentlemen used to back in the day. He liked that, but he looked bored sitting there on stage. They were supposed to dress like you would in the 1800's or like bookworms. I took these pictures before the show started. We got there way early.

what father wouldn't be proud to have a picture of there son fixing his stockings.

Picture with Santa

The Zoo had a night for the members where you could take a picture with Santa and do some crafts. You could also walk around the zoo and see the christmas lights that they had. Which we did not go and see, way tooo COLD.

Kacy did not want to sit on Santa's lap. She also cried at the Easter Bunny that the zoo had.

For Brandi

So, I got volunteered by Christi to help out with upwards cheer. I happened to have Cassie on my squad and I got some pictures of her. Kirsten will not be old enough for upwards until next year. So, you will not see any cute pictures of her in a cheerleading outfit. Be prepared, because next year I will probably be taking lots of pictures of Kirsten. Cassie is cheering the cheer "1-2-3-4". Brandi, you should be able to save the pictures to your computer. Let me know if you can't.

my crafty side

I made a wreath. I keep putting off buying one, because I didn't know if I would want to try it. Well, this year I decided I was going to make a wreath. Due to my neck pain I had last week that is the only Christmas thing up in my house so far. I usually have all of my outside lights out, and all of my inside decorations done by Sunday. For the first time since I have moved out of my house, my mother has put her tree up before me. Don't worry, I will have my inside done tonight. The outside lights will get done on Saturday. I need Josh to watch the kiddos. Yes I put our outside lights up. We are a little backwards on some things in this house and I don't mind. I like doing some things and Josh likes doing other things, so it works out.
