I just wanted to post some of our summer fun at my parents house:)

Kirsten jumping into the pool, which when she jumps in with out a float or even swims for that matter with Papa, he keeps saying "I don't like this, I don't know if this is a good idea"

Kirsten swimming in water where she can't touch the bottom. She can even come up for breaths, turn around, and I am super excited for her. Cameron doesn't know what the big idea is, but it is so exciting when your kid learns to swim.

Kirsten jumping into the pool with out her float. I think she scares her dad as well. He keeps trying to get her to wear her float or he doesn't want to be the one watching her.

Family Pictures

I have been wanting to take pictures of my family for a while, a long while. I finally got around to doing it and let me tell you so much FUN!!! Kacy doesn't like to smile, some how she always falls asleep right before we leave to take the pictures. I also love being behind the camera and in front of the camera at the same time. It was like ninety something and I'm running back and forth trying not to sweat. I usually end up saying "hey we are all looking at the camera, I'm good." Josh who is along for the ride agrees when I say "I'm good." So, anyways that was my evening and I have to admit I do love the pictures.

momma I woke you up

Well, we all should know that my little Kacy is a late nighter. Tuesday night Kacy could or would not sleep, and mommy was tired. I already had one girl in my bed and thought maybe she would go to sleep if we laid down with sis. We are laying there and she is telling me everybody she likes, who's nice to her, who's not, who gives her kisses, how much she loves going to Nana's house, how much she loves Papa and Papa loves her too (sorry mom, I know your a little down with that one), and she started singing me songs. Yes, songSSS there was more than one song. Well, during the songs I got the next big idea. I decided I would close my eyes, but slightly crack them so Kacy will think I am a sleep. I can still see her, but she can't see that. My lovely daughter slaps my forehead and tells me to wake up. I am still pretending to sleep. Kacy then decides to stick her finger up her nose and then in my mouth, and I am no longer pretending to sleep. Kacy starts laughing and says "momma I woke you up, I did this." As she tries to show me.

This one's for Nana

SO, Kirsten is getting better at the swimming under the water thing. She has been practicing in our pool. This weekend I think she will be able to try out her skills in a big pool over at Papa's and Nana's house. I don't think she will like not being able to touch the bottom, but we will find out.

This is the kids swimming, mainly Kacy's trick. She gets so exhausted from it.

Lexie post

I wanna have some pool fun too.
