The girls were carrying their princess pictures around with them today. Kacy was supposed to be sleeping when I took them. So, she did not have one. Kacy came to me with Kirsten's picture and asked "where's mine?" So, I had to get her picture taken as a princess.

Boredom
Well, when I got home from cheerleading and Cameron's basketball practice everyone was a sleep. Which is really nice, but I was not ready for bed. So, I made this from Heavenly's pictures. She asked me when I was taking her pictures if she could take them home with her. She is such a sweetheart and just a precious little girl. Everyone in the house is glad to have her with us, even if it is just for 3 days.
just having fun
Today the girls got kind of tired out on playing with the barbies and babies. So, I thought we would put on some of Kirsten's play makeup and dress up. I also had to throw in taking their pictures. I don't think you can really tell they have makeup on, but trust me we had it loaded up. Kirsten being used to having her picture taken was not as in to it as Heavenly.
Kirsten and her goofy smile she has going on these days.
Being a princess means you have to do a princess spin.
I guess the spin made them tired they wanted to use each other as pillows.
One of few pictures Kirsten let me take of her by herself. In this picture she still would not sit still. I am surprised it is even it that great of a focus.
The rest of the pictures are of Heavenly who never got tired of having her picture taken. She did want to stop and examine the pictures, but I can live with that. I am actually really used to that from little kiddos. These are my favorite of the many she let me take of her.

look who came to see us
Heavenly came to see us while she is off on winter break. We really enjoy having her. Kirsten missed her and loves having her to play with again. The girls dragged out all types of toys, which I think all kids do. As long as the toys get picked up before bed, or before friends leave. I do not care about the toys they want out to play.
The girls playing together in the bedroom.
I got the girls to look at me for a picture. Usually when I bring my camera out they automatically stop and look at me. I guess it has been to long, because they did not stop for a picture.
The girls having a tea party. Don't you just love the table the girls have. Yes, I know I need to get them a table, but the room is not that big. Plus, I have not found one I like, not that I am looking that hard. They played all day long with everything from barbies, to babies and tea parties.
Stryder for the first time in the girls room playing. The girls have to many tiny toys for him to be in there. I usually just make a play room out of my living room when he is there. Which he didn't stay that long today, but he kept trying to crawl back there. He now knows what he has been missing. A room full of toys he has not yet played with.

New toys
The girls got a bunch of stuff for their barbies for Christmas. Here are the girls playing nice (and together) in their room with everything.

Kacy playing with Hannah Montana, Kirsten was nice enough to share. Kirsten got 2 Hannah Montana dolls for Christmas, luckily Santa and Papa & Nana didn't get the same one.

a dress preview
Our church had there Christmas programs this Sunday and they were good. They had the kids sing a few songs and then the adults sang and performed. After the kids got done singing I wanted a picture of my two kiddos. Cameron thought it would be cool to include our pastor, which I have no objections. The pastor gladly let us take the picture. Kirsten was one of the angels and I thought she did great. I had some people tell me they were waiting for Kirsten to run. They needed a good laugh. Well, she did not run, but Kirsten did try to do the bigger kids motions.
My girls were not going to get Christmas dresses this year. I could not find one I liked and then I could not get the girls matching or at least get colors that matched. I finally got to the point of realization, the girls needed (or I wanted) Christmas dresses. I found two not so cute and did not go together at ALL dresses. I could not bring myself to buy them. So, I decided to make the girls Christmas dresses. The dresses match and I also made jackets for the dresses that will match. This is Kacy's dress and jacket. I was really kind of shocked at how excited the girls were about me making them dresses. I made Kirsten's dress first and Kacy was so sad she did not have one. Kacy took the extra fabric and just wanted me to wrap her up in it. When I am sewing the girls and even Cameron is hovering over me. All I have to do is start the machine and kids swarm around. Well, tell me what you think. I have not made anything since the 9Th grade and I did not use any patterns. Josh got me the sewing machine on Saturday for a Christmas present.

Cameron's school play
Well, Cameron had a musical at his school on Thursday night. I can't say I was really impressed, maybe because I am used to Misty's musicals at the church. I think it last 30 minutes and the kids sang maybe 3 songs. The songs were not long songs, just average length. Cameron was really excited about it though. He got to dress like a young gentlemen used to back in the day. He liked that, but he looked bored sitting there on stage. They were supposed to dress like you would in the 1800's or like bookworms. I took these pictures before the show started. We got there way early.

Picture with Santa
The Zoo had a night for the members where you could take a picture with Santa and do some crafts. You could also walk around the zoo and see the christmas lights that they had. Which we did not go and see, way tooo COLD.
Kacy did not want to sit on Santa's lap. She also cried at the Easter Bunny that the zoo had.

For Brandi
So, I got volunteered by Christi to help out with upwards cheer. I happened to have Cassie on my squad and I got some pictures of her. Kirsten will not be old enough for upwards until next year. So, you will not see any cute pictures of her in a cheerleading outfit. Be prepared, because next year I will probably be taking lots of pictures of Kirsten. Cassie is cheering the cheer "1-2-3-4". Brandi, you should be able to save the pictures to your computer. Let me know if you can't.

my crafty side
I made a wreath. I keep putting off buying one, because I didn't know if I would want to try it. Well, this year I decided I was going to make a wreath. Due to my neck pain I had last week that is the only Christmas thing up in my house so far. I usually have all of my outside lights out, and all of my inside decorations done by Sunday. For the first time since I have moved out of my house, my mother has put her tree up before me. Don't worry, I will have my inside done tonight. The outside lights will get done on Saturday. I need Josh to watch the kiddos. Yes I put our outside lights up. We are a little backwards on some things in this house and I don't mind. I like doing some things and Josh likes doing other things, so it works out.

My 2 yr old superheroes
My husband likes to use what is left of the sticker to put on kiddos faces or just let the kids play with it. Well, today in class I had a bunch of 2 year old superheroes. So, at the end of class they were all posing as superheroes and just being goofy. For those of you who did not see my kiddos I took some pictures to post and share. My daughter will not be one of them, because she thought her dad was being weird and would not play along.
Josh asked one of the boys, and then the other joined in. I asked for a personal picture of the two superheroes. You can see A. already asking to see the picture. She noticed I had my camera and being the smart girl she is knew I had a picture to see. As you can see the others quickly joined in.
A. being shy as I asked for a picture of the super girl.
G. showing off her muscles.
The story behind this picture,(long version) Kirsten has been sniffing everything these days and giving her opinion if it smelled good or bad. Well, today I washed the girls sheet and comforters. I just put Kirsten's clean linens on her bed, and then I tucked her into bed. Kirsten's pillow was fresh from the dryer and her sheets and cover still smelled really good. I told her to smell them. She starts giggling and tells me they smell really good. Kirsten smells her pillow, which was still warm, same reaction and a thanks mom with some kisses and hugs. It was a highlight to my night, and Kirsten snuggles into the bed. Cameron did her bedtime prayer with his little sis, while I was putting Kirsten's bed back together. So, I turned the lights off and cracked the door with high hopes Kirsten was down for the night. I make it to the living room for some Desperate Housewives and 5 minutes later walks in Kirsten with Kacy's pillow case and a pillow. I thought great she already took off her pillow case. I realized it was Kacy's pillow case, 2ND thought: I didn't realized Kirsten put the two together and that her pillow came from the dryer and she thought of her little sister's pillow was clean too. I sniffed the pillow, I love the smell of fresh cleaned clothes/linens, and it was not freshly washed. I make it back to the girls room and the cover that Kacy was sleeping with was on the floor and I was holding the extra pillow that Kacy was sleeping with. Now keep in mind, I put Kacy to bed an hour ago and Kacy was a sleep and could of had woke up with a pillow being yanked from under her head and blankets being pulled off of her. I tried to be yeah Kirsten for thinking of little sister, but also little sister will get clean sheets in the morning. Anyways back to the picture, I folded all of Kacy's sheets, pillow case and cover and stacked them in my laundry basket. Now thanks to Kirsten they are piled here, not neatly I might add. Which for me is irritating, I like fresh unwrinkled linens on bed. So, I will probably throw Kacy's stuff back in the dryer tomorrow before I put them on her bed. (In case you are wondering the laundry basket is for clean clothes only. I usually don't get to stand and hang fresh from the dryer these days with kiddos to watch. I stand in living room most of the time.)

Upwards is coming
Upwards cheerleaders have a blog and I told some of the mom's that checked my blog spot out that I would post a link to the new site. Well, here it is....FRIENDSHIP CHEER.
Here is a picture of Kaitlyn, isn't she just the cutest. I can't wait until Kirsten is old enough for cheerleading. I asked Kaitlyn if she wanted to put her outfit on and take some pictures. It did not take much to get her game for it. I am super excited for her.

Lexie
I wanted to take some pictures of Lexie, because I want some pictures to put up of our puppy. I am deciding between the first two, and I am thinking about redoing the pictures with a tan background. Which do you think looks better: one of these or a tan background. In the post below I have a picture of Lexie with a tan background just to give you an idea of what it might look like with her fur. I am just not to sure of the white. Well, anyways have a great day.

old pictures
Well, not that old just from the summer. I was going through my pictures the other night and I don't think I have posted these and was planning on it. Kirsten is one of my kiddos that likes to take some pictures and copy everything that I do. Well, she took some pictures of our cute little puppy Lexie. Which got her shots yesterday and threw up in my car. I think Lexie might be a little motion sick in the car.
Well anyways this is the cute up and coming photographer in action.
This is the lovely picture she took of her favorite puppy Lexie.

helping with ideas
Kirsten came into the living room with her sheet and told me that she was going to roll herself up. I thought YEA!!!! She has been running up and down the hall. Kirsten tried herself and did not do a very good job. She was as disappointed as I was in that fact. I decided to be a good mom and help her. Kirsten loved it, I know strange kid. She just rolled around the living room floor.
I had to add this picture, because I just love when my daughter holds her 4 tiny little fingers up with excitement for her new age. She loves to have things in fours and will just sit there and count them. Great Grandma, Uncle Steve and Uncle Brian Kirsten loved the kitty card you sent her. She kept asking me to replay it.
